September Favourites/ UnFavourites

Cannot believe it is this time already! September favourites?! Madness! Anyway, I have quite a few favourites and I've thrown in a few unfavourites this month just to show you all that I don't love everything ha! I too spend money on products you hear are amazing and soon discover they are not all they are cracked up to be! Let's get started then:

Bourjois 1 Second Gel Nail Polishes

Earlier this month I was fortunate enough to be the lucky winner of a Bourjois competition which they ran on twitter (yes, these competitions are legit as I am the proof in the pudding). I won a designer outfit and £100 of Bourjois Make-up - was a brilliant Monday morning! I received these polishes in my winnings and I have instantly fallen in love. Everyone knows I am a Barry M loyal but the wand on these polishes makes application amazingly easy for those of us who weren't blessed with pro-nail polish application techniques! Super fast drying and the colours are so vibrant! Will be adding a few more of these to my collection.

TONI&GUY Hair meet Wardrobe - Classic Shine & Gloss Serum

I got this product from my September Glossybox (be sure to check out that post) and wasn't really convinced. I'm not one to use many serums in my hair but I thought why not?! How glad am I! Adds instant shine to my hair making it appear super glossy and it keeps my hair perfectly straight and in place.

Quicksies - Nail Polish Remover Pads

I genuinely believe this is the best product I have laid eyes on. Ever. I started my new job this month and whilst training I was stopped and asked where the customer could find these. I had never heard of these before! How glad am I she stopped me! These take all the pain of nail polish remover away. One pad takes off both hands of nail polish - absolutely amazing! and the best part? They cost a couple of quid!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

If you read my Urban Decay Autumn/ Winter Preview post that I wrote a few days ago you will have read about their foundation which I recently purchased at said event. I am loving this. This could possibly have taken over as favourite from my Bobbi Brown foundation I wore. Gives an amazing matte finish and is very long lasting. Lightweight and build-able coverage - everything I look for in a foundation. Also, brilliantly priced so absolute winner!

Kids Zone Foam Bath

Now this may be a little ridiculous to some people but I love my baths and this was a cracking buy from my Mum! 'Foam Bath in Cherry and Almond'. Ironically I don't like cherries or almonds but this bubble bath is genuinely the best thing ever! It smells absolutely amazing and proves for a very relaxing bath. I don't care that it's for kids - this will be getting re-purchased!

Unfavourites!

L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream

I wrote a review on this product a few weeks back after hearing such great things about it (yes, one of those products) and honestly I could not have picked a worse product for my skin tone. Comes out the tube white with micro beads so here is me thinking 'wow, this looks great, the micro beads will help ex foliate on my skin with application' um, wrong! The cream goes on orange, yes, orange! Not the make-up look I tend to go for.

L'Oreal Elnett Hairspray - The Catwalk Collection

Only realised upon writing this post that my two unfavourites this month are both L'Oreal. Feeling slightly like a traitor as I usually love their products but you let me down this September guys! I am a Got2B Loyal when it comes to hairspray but I decided to give this a go as I had heard such great things about it. Doesn't work for me unfortunately. Won't hold my hair in place and I find it makes my hair look wet for some reason? I am now left with a huge tin of hairspray and no want for it. Guess my Dad can have it?!

And that is it for September guys! Hope you like this post!
