Well last night was a total change of plans. I was booked in to play at a dinner/ dance event and I had been looking forward to it for a while then on Thursday night at around 10pm I got a text saying it was cancelled - Gutted.
So to make up for my disappointing news I was treated to a lovely meal at one of my favourite restaurants (if not favourite) Benkaz. I wanted to be dressy but not ridiculously fancy as I only had a short period of time to get ready as I only just got in from work.
Have been dying to wear these trousers out but haven't had an opportunity. I love the high waist and belt with them. Then how they flare out but still look really elegant. Teamed these with a plain grey top and some statement jewellery which was black, gold and emerald - adding in some subtle colour.
We decided to walk so we could both enjoy a wee drink - why not? - and so I threw on this grey fitted jacket which was part of my competition win from Bourjois a few weeks ago.
Can you believe this is a small glass!?
