Dress: Camden Market
Tights: New Look
Shoes: Primark
Finally decided to 'grow a pair' and found myself in the hairdressers this morning getting blonde in my hair! This is a big step for me. When I was younger I used to be so fearless and would have long, short, lop-sided, front fringe, side fringe, half and half.... The list goes on. Now? Put a pair of scissors near me and argh! Run a mile.
So I am now a blondie! Well blonder...
Today's outfit I went for prints - massive trend over the last while. My dress is cats and was a lucky find in Camden Market when I was there. There are so many different animal prints out I've seen dogs, horses, leopard print (of course - wardrobe staple), zebra, giraffe etc
I love this pilgrim collar on this. Collars have been massive this year not only on clothes but as accessories as well. All over the high street and catwalks in a variety of styles. I have always loved anything with a collar and so this dress ticked all the boxes for me. The dress also has a drawstring middle which is great for adding some shape to your figure and allowing the dress some float at the bottom.
Added pair of thick black tights and I feel the dress is a little too short to go bare legs - don't get me wrong if you've got it, flaunt it, however on this occasional ill leave the flaunting to other more daring ladies! I may add that with the scottish weather having a mind of its own it is sometimes not practical to go bare legs.
Scotland - the only place where you need a brolly and a pair of sunglasses in your handbag!
Pilgrim style shoes (or granny shoes according to my boyfriend) to blend in with the style of dress. Pulling it all together:
Let me know what you think of this look!
