Last night was an unexpected trip to the pub with friends for the weekly pub quiz! The pub I find is always dressy casual so I went for this navy (although it looks black in the photos) off the shoulder number from boohoo. I bought this so long ago and have never found an excuse to wear it so thought why not? 

Added a gold belt as I was at Craig's and had no form of jewellery with me but felt it needed something! The gold belt also goes well with the gold buckle on my boots.

Not usually a lover of chunky heels but these boots are just super comfortable and a good height. They aren't high but just high enough to elongate the leg a little. 

For my makeup I went for a single black flick on the lid to keep it classic and a bold statement red. Love my red lipstick so much. Especially this no.7 'love red' shade, it's just the perfect deep red colour. Worthwhile investment! Long lashes using my clump defy max factor mascara! And a high curly ponytail to finish off the look.

Did I mention that we won the pub quiz? God only knows how!
