What's That A Hat?

Dress: Topshop
Cardigan: New Look
Boots: Primark
Bag: Gift
Hat: made by my granny

Do you ever buy something that you think 'yeah, that's alright, ill wear it at some point' and then a couple of months later you realise that you actually love that item? Well that's exactly what I done with this dress. I bought it and wasn't exactly head over heels but thought 'oh, quite different' but hardly wore it until now!

Unusual for a Topshop number but this
Cotton dress is amazing! I love the dark grungy colours against the floral detail across the neck to add a touch of femininity. Perfect for someone who isn't exactly a girly girl like me.

Teamed this with a neutral wool cardigan to provide heat as I didn't want to
Wear tights - I don't think this dress is suited to them. With my feather boots which I love to change it up.

The bowler hat is most definetly the accessory of the season. It has been slowly creeping back into the style stakes and is now a must-have. My gran went through a stage a few years ago of knitting me loads of different coloured hats all in this bowler style or slouchy, I love that mine is original and they are super comfortable because it is knitted!

To match the green tinge to the hat i used my green satchel bag which I believe was my mums and she gave it to me as she wasn't using it anymore. Score!

For My eyes today I decided to draw a thick brown line across my upper lash line and then smudged the full thing with a shadow brush to give my eye an overall shade. Lots of mascara today to brighten and lengthen my lashes. Decided to contour for a change as I hadn't in a while and kept the overall look natural with a layer of honey balm stain to coat my lips.

Hope you like this look!
