Just A Little Green

Top: Zara
Jacket // Treggings // Boots // Bag: New Look
Scarf: Gift
Necklace: Primark

Yesterday myself and my Mum ventured into Edinburgh to enjoy this year's Fringe Festival. We go every year and absolutely love it. Having studied Musical Theatre and my Mum being a Drama teacher we love going and try to throw in as many shows as humanly possible on our trips. We got to see four shows yesterday;

Romeo and Juliet in Glee
The Kiss of the Spiderwoman
Freakshow and
The Lady Boys of Bankok

I have to admit my favourite of the four was definitely the latter and if you are heading to the Fringe yourself, I highly recommend it to end your day. The show took me by complete surprise and everyone in the room was having a brilliant time. I wouldn't suggest if you have young kids - even though the show is marked 16+ I still feel it is a little close to the knuckle. All of the shows were great, just the stress of getting to the venues gets me every year!

For the Fringe you need to be comfortable so I opted for my black treggings (trouser/ leggings) and black boots, not a good idea to wear heels hiking around Edinburgh! I got this top from Zara and I love it! It was the last one there and was in my size so I have been super excited to wear it. It has leather straps which I think gives a grungy edge to the peplum style. It has a really lovely pattern on it too so I wasn't wanting to create much fuss elsewhere.

I quickly realised I was in all black and needed some colour added asap! Grabbed this Limited Edition necklace from Primark which I think it gorgeous - their jewellery has been really great lately, get yourself along! To blend in with this I added a green leather jacket for walking around, leather was also a great idea for keeping me warm throughout the day. My scarf was just another last minute add-on to give more depth to the overall look.

Got a few snaps throughout the day - notice the Prosseco in a Pimms jug? Yes, they couldn't fit the bottle into a normal ice bucket so a jug it was - epitome of class! Had a fabulous day and would honestly say to anybody who hasn't been to the Fringe before, get yourself along! There is plenty to do from watching all the street art to wining and dining, with shows from Comedy to plays and musicals you will be sure to find something you love!

Hope you like today's post.
