When the sun decides to shine down on indecisive Scotland you must take full advantage! It may not be scorching hot but if the rain isn't pelting down its good enough for me!
Maxi skirts are one of the best things to come out of fashion! They are so comfortable and no need to worry about those hairy legs! This Topshop number has to be one of my favourites - ever! The emerald green is bang on trend just now, it just has such a summer vibe to it. Silk material, making it hang lovely at the bottom. I sometimes find with thicker materials, they don't hang properly and they can stop at your ankles, whereas I love a floor length number! The banded waist holds it all perfectly, allowing it to give a better silhouette.
Teamed this with high neck crop top. Crop tops are everywhere this summer - if you haven't noticed, where have you been!? Got this from missguided and it is so soft and lovely. I love high necks and think this compliments the skirt perfectly! Making the perfect summers day outfit!
Pair of flats today! Shocker! I prefer to wear flats with a maxi to allow it that floor length - also, why where heels when you don't have to? Give your feet a rest. I will admit these little Primark numbers have seen their best days go by, but who can complain at 4 pound shoes?
Some Gelly Hi-Shine Barry M nail polish on my nails which - by the way - I have stopped biting now for two months! Anyone who knows me will know I was always a massive nail biter - horrible habit I know! So I am awfully proud of myself! Anyway... Some lilac colour to blend with the green, colour is 'Prickly Pear'. And finished off with a slick of lip butter in a lovely orange shade from Revlon to bring a brighter smile!
What's your holiday staple?
